Karmayogi, director V K Prakash’s adaptation of the Shakespearean classic Hamlet, will hit the cinemas on March 16.
The film has been made sometime back but it got delayed “thanks to our system where serious movies get sidelined. I had no problem finding distributors or theatres for Three Kings or Beautiful but there were no takers for this one until now,” says V K Prakash.
Indrajith plays the lead, in a double role. The main cast also includes Nithya Menen, Padmini Kolhapuree and Thalaivasal Vijay.
The film has been scripted by Balram Mattannoor, who has earlier written Jayaraj’s Kalitattam, based on Othello.
