Director Shaji Kailas has written the script as well, for his latest venture titled Simhaasanam which has Prithviraj as the hero.
The shooting of the film has started at the director’s favourite location, Varikkassery Mana at Ottappalam.
The film talks about a prestigious family called ‘Chandragiri’. Prithviraj is a journalism student named Arjun, who comes back home to take on the rivals.
Aiswarya Devan plays the heroine.
Shaji Kailas’ latest film, The King and the Commissioner, has received mixed response from the viewers.
Simhaasanam is being produced by Chandrakumar under the banner of Malavika Productions. The cinematographer is Vishnu Narayan.
