First Multiplex opens at Calicut

Calicut alias Kozhikkod is one city known for its endearing patronage to every kinds of arts including films. Recently in the last couple of years, almost half a dozen movie theatres were closed due to multitude of reasons. But movie lovers at Calicut, have got a new reason to cherish as it started to become the home for multiplexes.                                       The first multiplex 'P V S filmcity' has started functioning this week at R P Mall near the New Bus Stand at Mavoor road of the city  The theater complex will also become the first multiplex in the state offering 3D facility. Five screens in the complex are named as Emerald, Topaz, Sapphire, Coral and Ruby. The multiplex will also offer Internet facility, Mobile recharge counter, Clock room, Mini restaurant, Product launch and Programming stages.
