While the uncertainty regarding the screening of controversial film Dam 999in Tamil Nadu continues, the film's director Sohan Roy met the Tamil Nadu home secretary on Monday. The director had met the TN home secretary as per the instructions of the Supreme Court.
At the meeting at Fort St. George in Chennai, Roy apparently told the home secretary what he thought about the ban on the movie. Talking to the media after the hour-long meeting, Roy said the home secretary had questioned him over his visit to Mullaperiyar dam.
The film, released last month, was banned in Tamil Nadu for supposedly taking a pro-Kerala stand in the Mullaperiyar dam row. Roy had approached the Apex Court to lift the ban
