The second edition of much-awaited extravaganza Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) will start on January 13 with a grand opening ceremony in Sharjah. The event has performances by Pakistani singing sensation Atif Aslam and Devisri Prasad.
The inaugural match will be held between Mumbai Heroes and Chennai Rhinos in Sharjah cricket stadium. Other teams in this year's tournament are The Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers and Karnataka Bulldozers.
Meanwhile, actor Sudeep who led the Bangalore Bulldozers in the first season might not play for his team this, because the Kannada star injured his right hand while practising for a match. Doctors say that it’s a hairline fracture and have advised him to not strain his hand!
